Two related tools for worship teams. The Volunteer Evaluator scores an existing team member across seven weighted categories and produces a printable summary report. The Audition / Onboarding Evaluator walks a worship leader through a new volunteer's audition, instrument-specific performance, and onboarding logistics, ending in a Final Outcome decision.

No. Both tools run entirely in your web browser. There's nothing to download or install — just open the page and start filling it out.

Matters of character and the heart are weighted more heavily than skill. Each category has been carefully considered and contributes to a volunteer's total score, which is calculated out of 5.0.

Check “Plays an instrument” and/or “Sings” to include those categories for a volunteer. If neither applies, that portion of the score is excluded and the rest of the categories account for the total.

4.6–5.0 is Thriving, 4.1–4.5 is Growing with Coaching, 3.6–4.0 is Room for Growth, 3.1–3.5 is Needs Help, and below 3.1 is Not Ready. These appear both per-category and as an overall status on the summary report.

Scores and results stay hidden until you click Submit Evaluation, on purpose — seeing a running score partway through can unconsciously bias how you rate the remaining categories. Everything is revealed together at the end.

An automatically generated summary that pulls out strengths and growth opportunities from the scores and notes you entered, so you have talking points ready for a coaching conversation. It's generated entirely in your browser — no outside AI service is involved.

It's the average of every 1–5 item you scored across whichever performance sections you evaluated (drums, guitar, vocals, etc.). Only the instrument(s) you check as “auditioning on” factor into the score — unused sections are excluded.

Each performance section (Drums, Electric Guitar, Bass, Acoustic Guitar, Keys, Vocals) only appears once you check the box saying the volunteer is auditioning on that instrument. This keeps the form focused on what's actually relevant to that audition.

No, and this is intentional. The Final Outcome is always a fully manual decision — you choose from five outcome options yourself. The tool does not suggest or recommend an outcome, because readiness to serve depends on things no scoring system can fully account for, and that call needs to stay with the person doing the evaluation.

It captures the administrative side of onboarding: background check status, references, values alignment, whether the rehearsal/weekend schedule has been communicated, and Planning Center tracking. These answers appear in the printed report but are not scored.

Approved to Join the Team, Approved with a Trial Period, Needs a Second Audition, Needs Additional Meeting, and Not a Fit at This Time. Selecting an approved outcome reveals an optional field for where they'll be serving.

No. Both tools run entirely client-side — there are no network calls, no database, no cookies, and no browser storage of any kind. Everything you enter lives only in that browser tab for as long as it's open. Closing or refreshing the tab permanently erases it. The only way information leaves the browser is if you choose to print or save a PDF yourself.

Only whoever is looking at the screen, or whoever you share a printed/saved PDF with afterward. There's no automatic sharing or syncing.

Yes, on the full version (see below). Click Print / Save as PDF after submitting, and the report is formatted to a standard 8.5×11" page regardless of what device you're using.
