This isn’t just a business—it’s a reflection of what I believe in. I’m here to help churches get organized & relieve the stress of weekly administrative tasks.
Hi, I’m Teel Merrick
I’m Teel Merrick—a small-town kid from Hereford, Texas, shaped by the presence of God, the power of worship, and a lifelong love for music.
I grew up in the heart of the charismatic movement as the son of a worship pastor. My mom led worship at our small church, and from the front row I witnessed firsthand what happens when people encounter God through worship. My parents taught me early on the power of God’s presence, the importance of meditating on Scripture, and the truth that worship creates space for the miraculous. I was singing alongside my mom and sister before I can remember, immersed in church life and ministry from the very beginning.
Everything changed when I received my first guitar at sixteen. Almost immediately, I was thrown into leading worship for my local youth group—long before I could confidently sing and play at the same time. That early stretch was formative. I didn’t just learn songs; I learned how to listen, how to lead, and how to steward responsibility before I felt ready.
As my skills and confidence grew, so did my hunger for God’s presence. Artists like Matt Redman and Delirious—along with countless CDs and cassette tapes from High Plains Christian Book Store—fueled an insatiable desire to worship God with depth, authenticity, and excellence. At the same time, I was captivated by bands like Switchfoot, Anberlin, The Police, and U2, falling in love with songwriting, tone, and the art of building something meaningful through music.
By eighteen, I was playing in bands and chasing the “rockstar” path, but God continued to anchor me in the local church. That journey led me to Trinity Fellowship Church in Amarillo, Texas—a church much larger than the one I grew up in. I worked relentlessly to refine my craft and eventually joined the worship team. Around that same time, I was accepted into music school in Levelland, Texas. For a season, I drove nearly two hours each way every weekend so I could continue serving at Trinity while studying jazz and audio engineering.
That season marked a turning point. I learned to recognize the voice of the Lord in a deeper way and discovered how uniquely God had wired me to worship through the guitar. I also developed a deep love for recording, producing, and shaping sound—skills that would later become foundational to my calling.
After returning to Amarillo, I played every chance I got and eventually joined Trinity’s staff part-time as the youth creative director. I poured myself into serving the local church, opened a recording studio, and began producing music for anyone who would trust me with their songs. That path ultimately led to a full-time role as Music Director at Trinity Fellowship—the same year I got married and began the greatest journey of my life.
For ten years, I served as Music Director, dedicating myself to band leadership, organization, excellence, and team culture. Those years shaped me profoundly. Eventually, I was asked to step into the role of Worship Pastor, a position I held for six years. It was one of the most challenging and rewarding seasons of my life—stretching me spiritually, creatively, and as a leader.
In November of 2025 after 16 years on full-time staff, I stepped down from my role as Worship Pastor with a clear sense of calling toward something new: helping other churches thrive.
That desire gave birth to Worship Admin—a service dedicated to relieving worship pastors and worship teams from the administrative burdens that so often drain joy and focus. My heart is simple: to help worship leaders get organized, supported, and free to focus on what they love most—ministry and the presence of God.
